5 BEST THINGS TO DO – IN MILAN

Presenter Joe Hurd headed up this travel programme for travellers on a budget.
Fabio Di Segni was asked to come up with 5 great things to do in Milan – that were free or cost very little! No problem! He found several fun things for Joe to do. Like taking part in a very Italian sport, bocciofila, a bit like boules. And drinking miracle water from an ancient spring in one of Milan’s up-and-coming trendy areas. Then there’s Ballo Liscio, the old-fashioned ball-room style dancing that Italians still love. Joe visited an outdoor one with a huge dance floor where you could eat authentic Italian dishes cooked up by Mamma Rita! And to get around, all he had to do was to hop on a scooter in the scooter-sharing scheme. A great way to visit one of the evening markets in Milan.
Through his knowledge of Italy and Italian culture, and contacts in all the various regions, Fabio can put together a great itinerary, with activities that are genuinely Italian and not your run-of-the-mill tourist offering.
5 Best Things to Do in Milan was produced by the Scripps Network and broadcast on-line in 2016.
